Pornanong started playing golf at the age of 9, following her fathers guidance, this young star was not shy of competition. In 2005 she competed on the Ladies Asian Golf Tour (LAGT), finishing tied for 16th at the Phuket Ladies Masters and winning the 2006 Hong Kong Ladies Open prior to turning professional in February of that year.

Since then her career has gone from strength to strength, competing in the 2016 Rio Olympics and posting three top-10 finishes including a season-best fourth place result at the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic, which saw her cross the $3 million mark in career earnings.

Pornanong has shown that she can compete on the biggest stages in women’s golf, most notably, narrowly finishing second to England’s Georgia Hall at this year’s RICOH Women’s British Open. The experience she has gained on the world’s best tours has made her a vital part of team Thailand and we can’t wait to see what she can do in the heat of battle!
