An Asian Tour veteran, Prayad Marksaeng turned professional in 1991 and was one of the stalwarts on the Asian Tour, joining as a member when it began in its modern form in 1995. He has since won 10 times on the tour and 37 times on other worldwide tours.  becoming one of the first ten men to reach a million U.S. dollars in career earnings.

Familiar to the match play format, Prayad represented Thailand at the 2007 and 2008 Omega Mission Hills World Cup and has been featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking. With experience like this he will play a vital role for his team in the Amata Friendship Cup!
